In last night's Fox News / Google GOP debate held in Orlando, FL, the question was raised regarding immigration. Perry made a clear statement that Texas spent "$400 million of [their] taxpayer money into securing [the] border" by placing Texas Ranger recon teams' boots on the ground. After making that statement he segued into his education policy for illegals and their children.

Perry makes no bones about his stance that illegal aliens should allowed the same educational rights as American citizens in Texas. After being posed a question from a viewer if he would "exert an effort...

And yet another media re-post gone off the wire. No matter who your personal nominee is, or isn't, when it comes to the current GOP lineup as we head into the 2012 Presidential elections, the media has no place dictating who the 'voters' are to hear about and who they are not. This is interventionism, pure and simple.

The objective should be to "report the news".

Who is 'we'? The American people? The U.S. government? People all over the world? Various country governments? For it seems terrorists attack all over the world and the largest faction, as we know it today, are Muslim extremists. This ideology would suggest that Muslim terrorists are right in their aims to attack whomever, whenever, and wherever they so desire and it's 'our fault'.

Now that the dust has settled since the September 7th GOP debate and President Obama's September 8th jobs speech and most people have been inundated with media pressures about what is what, where does that leave the people who will be electing their president come November 6, 2012?

Independence Day! After years of ho-hum hum-drum fireworks, the people all across the city where I live went all out this year. Even we ended up with $700 worth of fireworks. The whole neighbourhood lit up the sky on both the 3rd and the 4th in a celebration to end all celebrations. It was as if people were psyched to celebrate the day with style and flare as they did in 1776. Although the reasons to celebrate our independence this year seems to be the same, it is against a different national government - our own.

A New York man spent his entire $140,000 life savings advertising his prediction that the world will end May 21, the New York Post reported Friday.

Robert Fitzpatrick, a 60-year-old Staten Island resident, said he spent at least that sum on 1,000 subway-car placards and ads on bus kiosks and subway cars.

They say, "Global Earthquake: The Greatest Ever! Judgment Day May 21, 2011."

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels signed a measure Tuesday imposing some of the nation's tightest restrictions on abortions and making Indiana the first state to cut off taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood, the nation's leading abortion provider.
