In last night's Fox News / Google GOP debate held in Orlando, FL, the question was raised regarding immigration. Perry made a clear statement that Texas spent "$400 million of [their] taxpayer money into securing [the] border" by placing Texas Ranger recon teams' boots on the ground. After making that statement he segued into his education policy for illegals and their children.

Perry makes no bones about his stance that illegal aliens should allowed the same educational rights as American citizens in Texas. After being posed a question from a viewer if he would "exert an effort...

And yet another media re-post gone off the wire. No matter who your personal nominee is, or isn't, when it comes to the current GOP lineup as we head into the 2012 Presidential elections, the media has no place dictating who the 'voters' are to hear about and who they are not. This is interventionism, pure and simple.

The objective should be to "report the news".

Who is 'we'? The American people? The U.S. government? People all over the world? Various country governments? For it seems terrorists attack all over the world and the largest faction, as we know it today, are Muslim extremists. This ideology would suggest that Muslim terrorists are right in their aims to attack whomever, whenever, and wherever they so desire and it's 'our fault'.

After viewing a thread on the Tea Party Patriots forum, posted under the 'Ron Paul' section titled "

In accordance with Gallup, all media outlets are reporting the two GOP frontrunners are Mitt Romney and Rick Perry. But are these polls accurate? While Gallup states that it performs random (unpublished) telephone interviews which conclude that Rick Perry and Mitt Romney are the top two candidates, it also shows that the positive intensity polls, also conducted via unpublished telephone interviews, show Rick Perry and Herman Cain in the lead.

Notwithstanding that most major networks conduct their internet polls without including all the candidates, it seems that either Ron Paul and Herman...

After altering its original story covering the "hilarity" of the Attack Watch site on "the Internet", the Washington Post updated their article again to include:

Update, Wednesday, 5:11 p.m.

Obama 2012’s press office just returned an earlier request for comment. According to deputy press secretary Katie Hogan, 100,000 people signed up for the site in the first 24 hours.

What a solemn morning... Many blessings to the families of the fallen on this day 10 years ago, to the first responders who saved so many other lives while losing some of their own, and to the many military families who have lost loved ones overseas in response to the travesty. We will remember!

With regard to the military still serving overseas in a manner other than what they feel is necessary to ensure the war never comes to us again, you have our support and admiration. Please know that here at home, if faced with another true threat of terror, we shall be strong...

FOX News - September 7, 2011 - "Report Shows Spike in Homegrown Terror Cases"

RAND Corporation - August 31, 2011 - "Al Qaeda's Efforts to Recruit Homegrown Jihadists in America Remain Largely Ineffective"

RAND Corp. is a "global policy think tank" [Wikipedia] financed by the United States government and other prominent entities, both public and private. This non-profit organization states its mission is to "further promote scientific, educational, and charitable purposes, all for the public welfare and security of the United States of America." Its self-declared mission is...

Now that the dust has settled since the September 7th GOP debate and President Obama's September 8th jobs speech and most people have been inundated with media pressures about what is what, where does that leave the people who will be electing their president come November 6, 2012?

A decent place to start, even though it does have a slight leftist bias lean, is FactCheck.org.

While the media is touting about the frontrunners for the GOP candidacy for 2012 as Mitt Romney and Rick Perry, to allegedly coincide with Gallup's non-proven polls, are these really the types...

I want to let you in on a little secret…

It’s O.K. to change your plans.

Turn about face. Pivot. Take a 180.

We live in a world which punishes those who take actions to correct a mistake or a course.

Wishy-washy, we call them. Flip-floppers. Unstable. Irresponsible. Lazy. Whimsical.

A whole host of terms with negative connotations for people who take abrupt action to change their course, especially when that course may have been a recent decision.

I’ve been talking a lot about “consciousness” in your life’s direction – and “flexibility”...

"(CBS News) -- Next time you're about to slam somebody for carrying on like a Neanderthal, think twice: You might be hitting close to home.

A new study published in the Molecular Biology and Evolution reports that people of non-African heritage carry a chromosome which originates from Neanderthals, offering evidence that the two populations interbred at a certain point in history. Neanderthals disappeared into history roughly about 30,000 years ago.

The research team, which was led by Damian Labuda of the Department of Pediatrics at the University...

Why can't all presidential primaries be held on the same day? Personally, I don't want people living in Iowa, Hawaii, or any other state deciding who I am to vote for in the major election. What makes Iowa, New Hampshire, Florida, South Carolina, and Nevada any better than the rest of us?

Independence Day! After years of ho-hum hum-drum fireworks, the people all across the city where I live went all out this year. Even we ended up with $700 worth of fireworks. The whole neighbourhood lit up the sky on both the 3rd and the 4th in a celebration to end all celebrations. It was as if people were psyched to celebrate the day with style and flare as they did in 1776. Although the reasons to celebrate our independence this year seems to be the same, it is against a different national government - our own.

Happy Independence Day to All!

Excerpts from: "How to Deal With People Who Think They Know Everything"

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/4343047

By Peter Murphy

"There are not many other types of people who infuriate others and have them losing their temper more than the know it all. They can make us feel inadequate and powerless and so we react badly, confirming their power over us. However, if you remain calm and think a little bit, you can learn how to deal with people who...

A New York man spent his entire $140,000 life savings advertising his prediction that the world will end May 21, the New York Post reported Friday.

Robert Fitzpatrick, a 60-year-old Staten Island resident, said he spent at least that sum on 1,000 subway-car placards and ads on bus kiosks and subway cars.

They say, "Global Earthquake: The Greatest Ever! Judgment Day May 21, 2011."
In a self-published book, "The Doomsday Code," Fitzpatrick said the Bible offers "proof that cannot be dismissed."

"Judgment Day will surprise...

"Most people with personality disorders have what is sometimes referred to as "disorders of the self," because they often don’t believe that there is anything wrong with them. They think, “This is me,” or “This is the way I have always been,” and self-preservation makes them want to stay that way. Personality disordered people are the ones who usually come to mind when we think of the term, “toxic person.” Here are some insights and steps for dealing with these highly difficult - even, impossible - people. Note: These don't apply to all personality disorders."

1. Recognize that impossible...

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels signed a measure Tuesday imposing some of the nation's tightest restrictions on abortions and making Indiana the first state to cut off taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood, the nation's leading abortion provider.

Planned Parenthood of Indiana immediately went to court in an effort to stop the law. U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt is expected to rule Wednesday on the request.

Daniels, a Republican known as a fiscal hawk, is considering a run for president in 2012. Adding his signature to the abortion...
